Congrats to former Washington gymnast Jen Kessler (Gym East) who placed 2nd on bars at NCAA Nationals this past weekend!

 

Congrats to SPU for 4th place at USAG Collegiate Nationals. Local girls Anissa Madrid took 2nd place on beam and Corinne Wise 3rd place beam. (Both are former Metropolitan Gymnastics athletes) (Sam Taylor 5th on bars and Bri Steigauf tied for 5th on floor.) Nationals were held at Air Force.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also of note: Dana Bonincontri, former Gym East gymnast also qualified for USAG College Nationals and was in finals for U of Penn and tied for 3rd place on bars and tied for 5th on floor. Dana also competed at NCAA Regionals this year.

The nomination deadline for the USAG Washington Board will be extended until June 6, 2010.

 

Congrats to our Washington Level 7 team which placed 3rd at the National Judges Cup in Covington, Kentucky! And Jada Czysz-Deboer took first AA.
